"I heard a clappin'!... It came from the Lucky Dog!!"
--So. Summer... happened. Astronomy was more or less cool, and Physics was more or less cool but ONLY because I discovered White Cheddar Cheez-Its (tm) in the vending machines and ate them in every class. Other than that it was not cool. o_o But now it's over! And I got an A and a B, respectively, FOR WHICH I was awarded this necklace. Everybody go oooooh.
This brings me to the next major section of my post, which is: Stuff I Got Over the Summer. This section also includes the lovely blue topaz ring of cool. Isn't it sooooo great? I finally have something that qualifies as bling, and get to look down at other inferior bling-wearers and think "HAH, mine's way better and yours is fake anyway." O_O I wear it every day and to bed, making me a DORK.
I also had to get a new version of my digital camera, because Coaster ((the first one)) died in about a day. I named this new one Ezinma, after the girl in Things Fall Apart who was the first of about 5 or 6 children not to die in infancy or childbirth or something.
((Actually, the one I have now is called Ezinma II, because the first Ezinma-- you guessed it!-- also died. -_-)) So, here are a few pictures of things from an antique store that entertained me:
-An illustration of Little Red Riding Hood, but mostly the wolf
-Excellent use of quotation marks
-A painting with a message
-...Eclectic?
-A big ball of solid copper! This one I actually bought.
-A random pretty effect that the guest room window started doing
I also got some neat pictures of a frog I found on campus. Click here to see what's really cool about this frog. Go on, I dare you.
Also, at some point I'll be getting a new cellphone. Like the kind everybody else has anymore, with the color screens and the nonchangeable silver casing. I'm not quite as happy about the nonchangeable silver casing and having to re-enter all my numbers, and I'm kind of afraid I'll look really excessively Modern and With It once I get it, but eh. The reception was never that good on mine, and... color screen... and pleasant ringtones. I was really starting to have auditory hallucinations of my old one. It was so high-pitched and startling when it would ring that I guess I got kinda neurotic about it. o_O Oh, well.
Annnnnnd. So I'm back at school, taking the following classes:
-Fundamentals of Public Communication (because it's required; or 'bir')
-Intro to Psychology (bir and easy)
-Drawing II (yay!)
-Theater Appreciation (bir. graded in groups rather than individually! am grouped with the blondiest blondes I have ever SEEN!)
-Beginning Tai Chi (heh. PE credit. The teacher's first name is Ruby. He's a man.)
-American Constitutional Development (bir. Technical difficulties and moving the teacher's son off to college have delayed the actual teaching of this class by a lot.)
My roommate is good; her name is Amaka. La la. She's a big fan of the naps, as am I. ...That's about all.
...I need an icon to replace my Legolas one, because nobody cares about him anymore anyway.

Also, the Find of the Moment: A desktop wallpaper in two sizes. NOTE that this does not reflect on my personal opinions, but this line really is one of the great underappreciated moments in the history of the musical. I think.
Pretty shinies!
The Floating Chibi of Doom thinks it should be Tai Chibi, but she always thinks everything should be chibi or doomy so she doesn't count.
Whee! Back at school! Dazi is on the LAN!
Re: Pretty shinies!
The eclectic spelling book is good, but I have to vote for the Red Riding Hood one. I mean... come on. That's hilarity at its best.
