Wow, I just bought the biggest bag of mini-Reese's ever. Almost $10, for what claims to be 60 oz. of candy. (...Well! It tastes good, and I needed chocolate, and I was at Sam's.)

The bottle collection is growing nicely as well. I did a quick, lazy count just now and can safely say I have somewhere just over 100 of them. This is why there have been no new pictures. When I only had like 20 I didn't mind the idea of spending a few minutes taking a few photos, but now? Eesh.

ARGH, why is all I have to offer pictures of bottles anyway? I want to produce something more creative but I don't know what. :X I have a lot of little snippety ideas-- character sets, scenes, what have you-- but I'm so terrible about coming up with actual full-length plots, and what if they're all too self-inserty anyway, and-- blaaarggh. People who have managed to accomplish this, how did you do it?

http://bollbashers.com/bashing.htm :

--"I'm not sure what Boll sees when he looks through the director's lens while filming each of his pictures, but I'm certain it's mething different than what the rest of us see."
- Marjorie Baumgarten, The Austin Chronicle

I asked people and was informed that "mething" was a unique typo of "something." I liked it better when I thought it was a newly invented (mild?) expletive, and am considering actually using it as such.

Would anyone else do it with me, so I don't feel like a dork? :(

I finally cooked that sweet & sour chicken that's been sitting in my freezer since the beginning of last semester, and MAN! It tastes great. Not to mention the box (typo: bokes*) contains a small mountainful of food. I'm gonna go have some for dinner now.

Also, I've finally been organizing my picture folders and cleaning up my desktop, which had 600+ unsorted photos and so many icons that some of them actually overlapped each other, respectively. I've still got a ways to go on the former, but since a lot of them are multiple attempts at the same shot, it isn't really like I have to look at that many hundreds of them. Heh!

WARNING: A lined-paper sketchdump may result from sheer manageability.

(*Might be the Chaucer Blog on the brain still, although I'm sure it's not correct there either.)

Good GRIEF!

Sable is the deepest character in the whole game. By a mile. Who knew? Every time I come in and talk to her she has a new bit of intensely personal backstory to share, each one being several paragraphs' worth of text.

Other than that, I got my east wing (!), and the expansion made my house eat my peach tree. :( So, I need to hunt down some peaches again. Oh, the shame.

Seriously, what are they? I was using the Random Journal feature (http://www.livejournal.com/random.bml), and the titles of two in a row were the same quote.

Look:

:X

EDIT: I felt bad, so I padded the entry a little-- but ONLY a little.

I got this bag of Hershey's Treasures, and it is my new favorite bag of mixed candies. There's chocolate full of chocolate, chocolate full of caramel, and chocolate full of peanut butter. There are NO bad flavors! Not even any not-as-good flavors! Oh-- so nice.

Also, in Metal Sculpture they have this thing called a plasma cutter, which lets you cut steel into freehand shapes. I want you to appreciate that this is not an exaggeration: it is like cutting warm butter. It makes me feel SO powerful and totally not afraid of this class anymore. Which is good, because-- I really was.

I'm double-clicking on each letter, by use of the Character Palette, in which there is no Space or backspace. (Other than this ( )'d part, added later when I switched to Word's more comprehensive Insert Symbol, every space was copied and pasted by hand. Line breaks are a result of pasting my paragraphs into/over pre-formatted ones.) Why? I'm cleaning my keyboard. All the keys are out.

Surprisingly, despite not being cleaned in 3 years and having food eaten over it all the time, it's stayed pretty decent. The biggest problem is actually pencil shavings. Go figure.

1. Get flat tire changed.

2. Drive out in search of mall, nature store, shiny rocks.

3. Completely fail to find it.

4. Stop in at Best Buy to clarify directions, resolved meanwhile not to buy anything from them as they are a truly icky establishment.

5. Get good and clarified. Think to self, Might as well look around!

6. Discover Lost in Blue is out!

7. Give in after a truly unimpressive struggle, and buy it.

Lost in Blue is SO FUN! :D It takes me back to the old Oregon Trail days. Fire-building! Spear fishing! Plus gender stereotypes! )

Your POST-HOC FALLACY O' THE DAY comes from the D&D session later that night, when I sang my bard song and immediately people actually started rolling better. Whoo!

So the point is: Google "[Name] needs", and post the first 10 results.

1) So I definitely think that once this test thing is over and done with, Brenna needs to have a chatty blog that I can keep up with.
2) Brenna's needs come first.
(I swear! I put it in quotes and everything, I don't know how the 's got in there!)
3) Ryder is there when Brenna needs him during her version of the High Noon show-down in the halls of academia.
4) Brenna needs to determine dimensions for buying posters.
5) With eye-catching, red pigtail braids, Groovy Girl Brenna needs a wardrobe just as unique
This was a doll and they didn't have it anymore! :C
6) On this night, Brenna needs her halo cleaned
7) If Brenna needs her help, in any way, she's going to get it.
8) To Brenna's boss: Brenna needs a raise.
9) Brenna needs beer...NOW!!
10) Anybody Who voted they do not love Brenna needs To die the death Of Freddy Krueger - with none Of the afterlife benefits.

HOWEVER! I found doing this through Google Talk to be much more fun. Plus you get to watch it spell it out one word at a time.
brenna needs A New Kind Of Blue stars around Black Hole.

Wait, never mind, it keeps repeating the same one! So, it wasn't as much fun as I thought it was going to be.

...
This is the dumbest entry ever, and so I will show you some insects that have decided to live near me!
A preying mantis!
An albino ladybug!
An interesting grey beetle!
Compelling video footage of the grey beetle taking a stroll!
And finally, the tackiest of the tacky in belt buckles. Also a video.

For real! It was swooping and diving around the middle of the apartment complex, over the swimming pool. In a circle. Really fast.

My first ever live bat. It was cool.

And um, I'm hungry because I'm not eating right lately? :D

1,
In my DESPERATE inner search for a good new AIM sn, I resorted to: Pictionary cards.

You know. Pick one card, arrange some of the words on it. I didn't find anything I liked... :c Most of them were more suited, in the tradition of Dave Barry, to be A Great Name For a Rock Band. I got such interesting things as Pine Jockey, Keyhole Nursery, Noise Pit, and Illegible Stencil Dwarf.

But I discovered that's a nice way to get inspiration for.... things. I don't know.

2,
....One day I'm going to bust out with the HUGEST Interests list of ALL TIME and you're all going to be amazed.
Or, I could do them one at a time, adding a new one every day!

and 3,
This, at work, seemed like something people might enjoy. For a minute. (It's a pillow, get it?)

Oh, and I moved into my apartment at school. C: Yay!

I've really, really gotten into the habit of deliberately using poor grammar as a way of sounding cute. I "oversleeped" this morning, for example.

I must stop! :C

So Friday I went to see that new movie by what's-his-name-- it has Johnny Depp in it; you've probably never heard of it since there's been almost NO publicity on it at all-- and in the previews was the [new and MUCH improved!] Corpse Bride trailer. (As an aside and just for the record, the first one sucked. Discuss?)

Except for the characters themselves, which they left alone, this trailer was shown in Spanish. Entirely, and without subtitles.

Just kinda made me go huh? Also I realized my Spanish is not so hot anymore. :c

Also also, I got a couple of mildly amusing pictures from inventory day at work, which I may add in later. They're of boxes.

---Oh and hey. I think the battery indicator on my Zen musicky dude is broken. Last night when I turned it off it showed 2/3 full; when I turned it on again this morning it was completely empty and yet it's been running great for like a half hour. Mmmmf.

Current cartoon guilty pleasures: Avatar: The Last Airbender and Chalk Zone. Avatar is, of course, the guiltier of the two, but it's fun to see someone trying to do invented foreign cultures! :D (Biggest flaw: insults thrown by characters are poorly writen and unconvincing! ...Okay, so maybe that's just a facet of the one-trait-per-person characterization in general, but I'm desensitized to most of that already, and they insult each other so much!) And Chalk Zone is just so imaginative and cute, and it has fun music and the episodes are about 10 minutes long. Whee!

Also I have a JOBBIE! I cashier and organize WALLFULS of pillowcases!... and things. I answer to Too Good for Actual Managerial Duties Manager, Good Ol' Nice Manager, and Endless Tasks For Me on the Floor Manager. Also, they play all these well-known songs but they use versions that are performed by the wrong people! :C Oh, well. Replacement DS and Tiger for me by the end of the summer! And maybe some JEWELRY although I would probably buy too much of that.

One week left of school-- count 'em, ONE-- and Mom sends me this *huge* amount of snack food. Two cases of Capri Sun, two boxes of microwave popcorn, two king-size boxes of Junior Mints, and a thing of Pepperidge Farm Fancycookies (chocolate chip and macadamia nut :3). There's only one package of those, but since the cookies are about the diameter of a softball, I think I'll be all right. XD

You know something? I realized that the "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish" song shares the same bit of melody at the beginning of its verses as Avril Lavigne's "Complicated." So anytime I start humming the one, I always get the other stuck in my head instead, and it makes me angry!
