AAAAH SCARY WOMANLIPS

So I saw the movie poster for that new Willy Wonka on somebody's LJ yesterday.

If nothing else, you know Burton did this movie by the top of the cane.
...Okay, and the makeup.
The hat and coat are fantastic, and I'm curious about this choker thing.
But could they have picked a more unnatual-looking pose? A more obvious use of kindergarten-level Photoshop to make swirly clouds?
Oh, and those are the dumbest boots ever. They made me laugh.

I cannot... believe... what a bad poster this is.

...that's a guy?

The original movie had a guy who looked like one of my school's religion teachers. I'm hoping this will be a lot better.

..And was I the only person who thought the original movie had to do with child molestors? I hope not... o.0;;

Okay, for some reason that collar looked really metallic. Now I know. But those gloves are slightly... gross...
EDIT: Okay, I'm dumb. Part of it actually is metallic. Raagh. The kids all look great, except Violet = What year are they setting this movie in? o_O

My head fell into the monitor when I saw that Oompa-Loompa picture. I think the icon for that is "XD".

I still do not think that's a guy.

And the oombaloompa is too human for my tastes.
